Read My Story ... And Share Yours!

Have you ever let some guy get to you so badly you accidentally ended up making a complete fool out of yourself? I say ‘accidentally’ because we (smart, sexy, confident, successful, sure of ourselves women) would never knowingly go psycho on a guy without extreme provocation……right!?

Well, to show you you’re not alone I’m going to share with you my dating story called *Throwing Keys*…..this way you won’t feel so bad about sharing yours!

My Throwing Keys Story

Before I started documenting all my dating experiences, I was in a very serious long-term relationship that I thought would last forever.  I was so in love (and three-bridal-magazine-subscriptions committed to getting married) that I didn’t want to admit to myself (or anyone else) I wasn’t actually ready.  Thankfully, Derek saw in me what I didn’t see in myself, and we were able to part ways as friends.

About two months after our relationship ended, I made the first attempt at rewiring my dating mentality.  Instead of thinking about a date as a husband hunting adventure, I decided to strip it down to what it really was: two people getting together to have fun with no need to mentally fast forward to our wedding day.  I thought I had the right frame of mind. I felt strong, confident, and ready to get out and have fun. I was destined for dating success.  But that was clearly not the case.
